Pathway and English Language Centre

Working closely with our client, the University of Otago, Feldspar successfully led the relocation of the Pathway and English Language Centre (PELC) to its new space within the Otago Business School building. The new facility spans 2,300m² across levels 2 and part of level 3, featuring seminar rooms, a computer lab, video conferencing rooms, meeting rooms, a library and resource room, student breakout spaces, administrative and management offices, an open-plan staff office area, and ancillary/welfare facilities. The project was completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of finish.

Procured via a design and build route, the project required meticulous management of the contractor's design process while ensuring costs aligned with the client's budget. Feldspar Associates is proud to have fulfilled the roles of Project Manager and Engineer to the Contract for this project.
